Below are visual representations of cycling, doping within the sport and a couple of Lance armstrong specific information graphics. My newspaper article was about Lance Armstrong and the fact he had been stripped of his 7 Tour de France titles, however, I have chosen to focus mainly on the use of performance enhancing drugs within the sport of professional cycling and how regular it is amongst the greats of cycling.

I don't actually know what the infographic above is about, I added this more because of its aesthetics. The overall graphs when together represent a wheel and the inner graphs form the spokes of the wheel, it's a great idea of representing the contents visually in a way that relates so well to the topic.

The 2 images above and below basically illustrate the same subject just visually communicated in different ways. The one above is a more graphic, colourful appealing graph whereas the one below is a more serious professional to the point chart. They both illustrate how many top 10 riders in the past have actually been convicted of using performing enhancing drugs. It's extremely shocking how many riders have actually failed drugs tests. Even though it's a highly difficult and competitive sport it does actually take away from the fun of cycling which all stems from riding bikes on the street as a child. It's setting an example that it's acceptable to cheat because so many riders are actually doing it.

Below is just some key bits of information on Lance Armstrong's doping scandal and is pretty self explanatory.
