Visual Data Influences
I conducted research into how information is visually represented using colours and waves. Music is created through sound waves and these are depicted through equaliser bars and waves. I love the use of circles to form the information around and to illustrate different size of waves and the use of different colours and opacities.

Epworth said the "dark and moody" song was intended to echo the narrative of the film.
"The [Bond theme] songs seem to fall into groups, in terms of subject matter," said Epworth. "Some of them have a romanticism to them, and some of them are very much about the narrative of the film."

Tyler the creator
Tyler the creator is a rapper, producer, writer, video director, skater, cultural lightening rod and leader of Odd Future Wolf Gang Kill Them All (OFWGKTA). Tyler the creator released his second album Goblin worldwide on XL recordings in 2011, the album featured the track yonkers that saw him win an MTV best new artist award as well as performing live at the awards.

'He does not make easy music. He will not comfort you. He will not make you want to dance. He will not make you want to party. Tyler raps slowly, which mean that his violent, misanthropic lyrics are easily discernable and thus more shocking. (In “Yonkers,” he threatens to stab Bruno Mars in his esophagus and in “Sandwitches,” he urges children from broken homes to “buy guns and kill those kids with dads and mom.”).  This is violent, raw music that can’t be played on the radio. Many of Tyler’s songs don’t even have a hook. Whether you like it or buy it or hate it or deride it is up to you.'

Page layout
Because the print publication is going to be a mix of text, photographs and illustrations it's necessary to find a layout that can incorporate all of them, plus work on multiple formats. Below I've just compile a selection of layout that contain what I require to provide some form of foundation for me to work from. I want to stay away from the usual basic simple layout I normally go for, although it is simple, functional and works I feel the publication requires more as it's such a dry subject to some it just become one large boring publication.

Format
Below are examples of design that is similar to those I have in mind for the element of print. Because the book is going to be a fortnightly series, it is going to be multiple publications therefore I have to find a way of binding them so they work individually or together as a set.
.
Above is something that could possibly work for me, the numbered tabs could be each volume so every fortnight you just add the newest volume yourself so at the end of all the volumes you one large publication bound using a two prong device, or you could keep them individually bound if you're only interested in one particular subject you don't have to buy all the rest. Below is another example of the two prong bind but this time with a fold out which enable me to reduce the format of the book but still have larger sheets without compromise.

.

Another idea is to have each volume a different format to differentiate between each one, although this is a good idea it could prove difficult to read the first volume especially when they're bound together as a whole. However there are different ways of changing the formats, instead of changing the entire size like all of my examples below I could just change the width instead. This could still prove difficult to read but I believe it'll work better in the hand as you don't have both the height and width to contend with and hold.
